All Water is not life

The saying that water is life is quite popular. However, for more than 1billion people in the world, not all water means life. Water can mean death, and to a large magnitude costing us 1000 adults and 5000 children a day.

Access to water is a basic need. One that several individuals cannot afford.

In the above picture, WARwanda is placing a well close to a lake. Why you may wonder.

The reason is simple, surface water is contaminated while ground water is pure.

The reality is unclean water kills more people than those who die from lack of it.
